Who We Help
Families in Elmhurst and the surrounding communities have a wide variety of mental health needs, whether it’s a couple struggling to make their marriage work, parents unsure how to help a high-needs child, or an adolescent or adult struggling with issues such as substance abuse, depression, or anxiety.
New Prairie Counseling Center understands that to meet the needs of our community means understanding and staying connected with our community. This includes staying current on how shifts in modern life affect mental health, remaining aware of behavioral trends among local youth, and offering the most up to date, effective, evidence-based treatment strategies from seasoned therapists with extensive experience and training.
We also value the importance of keeping close ties with community resources including District 205, neighboring schools, and other mental health programs in the area in order to ensure continuity of care and success in life, work, and school.
New Prairie Counseling Center is a full-service program for individuals, families, and couples who seek out therapy. We work with individuals from childhood and adolescence through adults and seniors. We also work with any number of multiple family members including spouses, parent/child, and siblings.
