Mending Group
Do you have a beloved article of clothing showing wear and tear, or a family quilt that’s come undone at the seams? Are you unsure of where to start with repairing it? Or perhaps you’re finding it hard to get to on your own?
Are there places in your life, like those worn fabrics, asking for care and restoration? Do you long to connect with others with similar struggles?
We invite you to join our therapeutic mending group where we blend the practice of stitching and patching with the healing power of community.
How It Works
In this traditional art therapy group, we bring our worn clothing, thread, and fabric as well as our stories and presence. Together, we reflect on what it means to tend to what’s frayed, to make something whole again, and to allow imperfection to become part of the beauty.
