Parenting with Love and Logic

Many parents become frustrated because consequences don't seem to 'work' with their child. Often times there are small tweaks you can make in your approach that will make a seemingly ineffective consequence become effective. The Love and Logic parenting curriculum has been a staple of our recommendations for most parents we work with at New Prairie Counseling for just that reason. They offer many books for specific situations, such as grandparents, special needs, etc. But, honestly, the original book is the most concise, clear overview of their main concepts. The book includes many practical examples which may be its most valuable aspect.
