Dorothy Dvorachek-Larsen, LCPC
Dorothy Larsen is a seasoned art therapist with over two decades of dedicated service in the field since 2004. As a licensed clinical professional counselor (LCPC) and a registered art therapist (ATR), Dorothy holds a Master’s Degree in Art Therapy, approaching her work with a deep sense of purpose and a profound belief in the transformative power of creativity.

Throughout her career, Dorothy has worked with a wide range of age groups, from children and adolescents to adult women and older adults. Her approach is collaborative, strength-based, and resilience-focused. Central to her practice is a foundation of warmth and compassion, creating a safe and nurturing space for clients to explore and grow.
Dorothy integrates trauma-informed care with a family systems perspective, ensuring holistic support for her clients. She has specialized training in Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), allowing her to incorporate skill-building strategies into therapy sessions. As an art therapist, Dorothy provides support for clients who choose to incorporate the creative process into their counseling journey, empowering them to utilize such self-expression as a means for healing.
Her experience extends to working with youth on the autistic spectrum and other disabilities, alongside their families. With proficiency in Spanish, Dorothy brings a culturally sensitive approach to her practice, honoring and valuing the unique backgrounds of her clients.
